  • It’s a good practice to review your debit card activity frequently to ensure that your account contains only valid, authorized transactions.
  • Northeast Georgia Bank will never call you regarding your debit card number or security information, so if you receive such a call, DO NOT give the caller that information.
  • If you believe your card number has been used for fraudulent purchases, or to report a lost or stolen debit card, please contact your nearest Northeast Georgia Bank branch during business hours. After hours, please call 800-523-4175.​

  • Traveling? To prevent any inconvenience related to fraud prevention features on your debit card, please contact us during normal business hours with travel dates if you will be traveling out of state or outside the US. Enjoy your trip!

NACHA recently implemented the Same Day ACH Rule which enabled the option for same day payments within the US.  As a result, payments and collections will occur on the assigned effective date.  The requirements for this Rule are being implemented in three phases:
